Pinterest

PinterestUntil about 3 months ago I had no clue how to use Pinterest. I only knew that it was a powerful Social Media Network for sharing content, but I wasn’t sure how to fully use it for my business and brand. With the help of friends that I have met over time and tons of research I have finally become familiar with Pinterest and am comfortable sharing with others ways to maximize their use of Pinterest.

Most of my methods have been automated, but before being able to automate anything I first needed to manually understand how things worked on Pinterest.

First some facts about Pinterest. Pinterest is a female dominated network. My last time of checking the stats it was a strong 80%. So with this in mind if you plan to use Pinterest for your business you will need to provide content that is appealing to a female audience. So content like recipes, wedding ideas, women’s fashion, shoes, dieting, home decor are examples of content that get a good amount of attention on Pinterest. Pinterest is a sharing network so it is necessary to like, comment on, follow, and share others content in order to build a following of others that will do the same with your content.

The methods that I will share and demonstrate will utilize either my brand or other opportunities that I may want to share with a targeted audience.

Rome was not built in a day and neither will your Pinterest network be. It takes a bit of time to get your account primed up, but once it gets going you will have a reliable source of traffic and engagement on your content that if used properly will allow you to quickly and with minimal to zero costs gauge the interest of others in regards to what you are sharing.
