I have decided to expand my marketing knowledge and network using IBOToolBox also known as Independent Business Owners Tool Box. IBOToolBox is a network which is a lot like Facebook, but more focused on marketing only. As I am blogging and IBOToolBox provides an area to post Press Releases I think it will be a great way of getting more feed back on the content I provide here on my blog.
I’ve been a member of IBOToolBox for over a year now, but due to my Facebook hypnotism I never fully gave the network a try until now. The first thing I decided to do once test out IBOToolBox was to create a nice profile. Since I’m an affiliate marketer and IBOToolBox offers the ability to advertise your offers through banner ads throughout the site noticing this option captured my attention. If you have used Facebook Group Posting to share your offers with others and find it becoming more and more difficult due to Facebook forever changing it’s policy when it comes to marketing there for free then IBOToolBox is something you need to have a look at.
As I said the first thing I did when joining IBOToolBox was to setup my profile. After setting up my profile I went directly to create an IBO ad for IBOToolBox. I was able to Create an IBO Ad for IBOToolBox in 10 Steps…
So I’m sharing them with you.
Before moving onto the first step be sure to have your ad content available. Ad content that you will need includes the link you will be directing users to and the location of the image of your ad. (To use the free affiliate program that I am using in the video click here…)
Step 1. Locate the Site Navigation Box to the right of the IBOToolBox Dashboard and click on the text “My Advertising”.
Step 2. Locate the Create New Ad Box and click on it…
Step 3. Locate and click on the text box for the banner size you would like to create. In the video I’m using a 250×250 ad which costs 5 impressions per view. At the time of creating the attached video I had just added 2500 impressions. As you can see in the stats in the image above the credits will be used quickly. However I did receive one affiliate signup during the initial test.
Step 4. Provide a name that you will remember in the Friendly Name area. Maybe use something to describe the advertisement like the color, part of the written text, or the company name and then a number or something like I’ve shown in the attached image.
Step 5. Enter the website you want those clicking on your ad to go to.
Step 6. Enter the link where the image of your ad is stored.
Step 7. Leave the Display Speed as Default. If I find a reason to change these settings…
Step 8. Check all the listed boxes to have your ads displayed in each of those areas.
Step 9. Save your new ad.
Step 10. Turn on your new IBO Ad for IBOToolBox.
